It is just a question of cost for me. I was interested and thought about paying in instalments, but the payment plan is over too short a period and adds too much to the total cost.

Well, I sympathise with your problem. Yes, it’s a lot of money. And if you’re short of money (like most of us), it’s a real stretch. But did you know we sometimes have scuffed or returned courses which we’re able to offer at a substantial discount?
