“Recently I wrote a direct email for the charity that I’ve been volunteering for to solicit donations, volunteers, and networking opportunities.
As a direct result, a local radio station offered an interview to the committee chair and following that an anonymous £10,000 was made to the charity! I’m planning to start freelancing soon, once my certificate is issued and my business mentoring is arranged, and I think the email will make a great portfolio piece.”
